Won't work at all, I'm afraid. Corvette bolt pattern is 5x4.75.

Backspacing with a 8" rim is 4". A 9.5" rim would be 5.5", unless you run flares. 5.5" BS will probably hit the stock trailing arm on the rear and the frame rail up front when at full lock. 6.25" BS will hit the chassis and sit too far in on the car. You could run a spacer but would have to replace your wheel studs with longer ones. Personally I'm not a big fan of spacers due to the shearing stresses on the studs.

I think you can make 9.5" rims work with the right BS and offset trailing arms, but I'll let someone who has actually done it give you that info...

I'm running 17x8 rims with 4" BS and they fit perfectly with stock trailing arms.

The bolt pattern is wrong too.. Corvettes have 5 @ 4.75
5 @ 4.5 is Ford and Chrysler pattern

Beemerrs have bolt patterns close to or exaclty 5x4,75. I'm wondering if beemer rims will fit, I think most beemer wheels are hubcentric though.

Once I saw a vette with beemer wheels:

I have moved many a bolt hole and it is not difficult but the back spacing is all wrong. This is an old arguement but even 5 inches of backspacing is too much for stock trailing arms and on the front it will hit the outer tie rod end. I have a set of 17 with 6 inch offset for the mustang and they would not clear the front of my vet with this much offset.
For the holes all you do is elongate the hole to a slot. The nuts then support on the outside of their surface rather then all around. Works fine if you use a mill and dividing head.

Twin Turbo-
That looks beautiful. I have alway appreciated BMW rims and especially the twin 5 spoke design. Man Ill bet those were expensive.

This set-up looks great with the wider rear rims. Got anymore shots of this vehicle?

Hi I have a 1989 jaguar that has a bolt pattern of 5 on 4 & 3/4 exactly same as all Corvettes I bought a set of 18 inch wheels off a 1990 BMW 735-I The lug pattern on teh BMW is metric but is so close they fit great. As I am writing this I remember selling a set of BMW wheels to a guy that put them on his S-10 truck wich is also 5 on 4 & 3/4 same as vettes so yes you will not have a problem with the lug pattern on the BMW wheels but backspacing might pose a problem. Hope this helps you :steering:
