It's been quite a while since they instituted that. You have to have over something like 3,000 posts, been around since 1999 and have been posting within a month of when they did that.
Now, I think you have to have 10,000 posts

Supposedly you have to get 10,000 posts, but I've seen exceptions made all over the place. Usually buddies of the moderators or something. A stealthy puma member comes to mind.

P.S. It isn't all that difficult to get to 10k.. If you post like me.. it will take you 2 - 3 months to get ther... :D :D

Come on.. 712 posts/week is nothing.. I've posted 890 in one week before... I actually might get above 800 posts/week tomorrow.. I didn't post anything last Saturday and Sunday.. Therefore - all my posts this weekend will be added to the 7 days total... I might be at 1000 posts/week by monady morning.. I posted on average 130 - 160 posts/day during the last 5 days...
