What is your favorite power tool?
Mine used to be the power hack saw. Today I just bought a dremel tool with the flexible rotary extension cord. This just might be my new favorite play toy. I have been polishing, grinding, and cutting everything I can find all day today :yesnod: I wonder what me vette would sound like with a v8 turning 35,000 rpmsHmmmmm! I wonder if the buffing wheel will clean the dogs teeth :reddevil

1. Electric Impact gun
2. Angle grinder. (Used this more on my 4 wheel drive project. Not sure how I made it through life without one, up til now).

Chris,
Your converting your Corvette to four wheel drive??? :jester
Although, if you are that would be really cool.

P.S. If I EVER finish my vette I am going to do an old CJ7.

My Roto-Zip. Makes nice round circles in fiberglas & trims any "klingons".

Heh heh, no, not a corvette. I have a lot of other hobbies besides corvettes. Here's the before and after shots:

1/4" air ratchet. Completly essential if you work on cars as a proffesional, and lets the hobbyist take his interior apart in a resonable amount of time. In fact....i'd advise anyone out there to make some big purchases in the air tool area. Alot of people consider them a wimpy thing to use....but man they can literally save you MONTHS off any project.

What's so good about the dremel? I find it an underpowerd small POS tool. You can't do anything with it, if you want to do some grinding the thing is too small amd the cutting bits, disks and stuff all wear out very fast (and are expensive to buy) A nice die grinder w/ a flex extension is much more convenient IMO.

My favorite is a good air compressor. This opens up all sorts of neat tools. I even have an air buffer(one of my favorites)...Very light and who cares if you are standing in water while using it! You can even find air operated jacks. Nothing replaces a dremmel / moto tool for certain things though. A lot depends on what kind of work you do on you car.
