Where to look for stamped #s on heads?
I know I have GM aluminum rect. port heads on this 454, but I have no clue if there are different variations of these heads.
Since I'm new to this stuff, I just need to know where to look to figure out _exactly_ what I've got. :)

You'll need to remove the valve covers. The number should be right about in the middle of the head. You can go to GMPP and lookup the number or look under BB parts for the different heads they offer. https://www.spoperformanceparts.com/
