Default Cool Air Intake

Hello again, I was driving my vette really hard today and i was noticing i get really good performace when its cool DUH, but my car gets really hot fast and i lose a lot of performance i was wondering if a cool air intake would help and what ones are you guys using? Anyother tips to keep my car cool so i get the best performance ...???

i have a rpm air gap intake that i used when i was carbed and it worked rather well for keeping the carb, cooler.

73's have cowl induction but I would like to hook up a duct to the two horns on the aircleaner as well. When did corvettes first go to that type of setup. I thought it was around 79 :confused:

Those hoods are KILLER! Am I imagining it or have I seen those with the air box and ones without it? If so, are the ones without the airbox just for looks? :confused:
