Default Isn't it time for a NEW national holiday?

A holiday dedicated to all those guys who sold their dream car to:
- get married
- go back to school
- buy a minivan for wifey and the kiddies
- etc.

Increasingly, I'm getting eMails to my website from guys who had a hotrod, or GTO, or Corvette, or Z-28, or what-have-you many years ago, and then sold them for one of the above reasons. Now, they're busy kicking their behinds. :smash: :smash: :smash:

I've had guys tell me that quite often when dropping by my garage for a look, but now it's coming in over the Internet.

These guys truly are suffering :cry :( :mad  :nopity , so how's about we lobby for a national holiday dedicated to them. Couldn't you use another long weekend in the winter? :D I know I could.

The Damn I Was Stupid Holiday.

Any reason is a good reason for a holiday. I am a firm believer in the right to at least one 3-day weekend a month without having to waste Vacation Days.

Sounds good to me - but I guess I married well (at least in this sense).

My wife suggested I buy the 75 vette from friends of ours !!

The next project car is going to be HERS - 69 Camaro !!

She says she wants an SS style with BB and 4 speed !!

How about another holiday for those fortunate one:
Muscle Car Wife Day

Now if I can only interest her in a little :) :conehead :) .............. :cuss :nono:

:seeya

I sold a Harley to get married. Her dad said..."it's her or your bike. better chose." I sure have missed that Harley.

Daves Rusty 75 hasd a great point. If U marry the right person then U can either keep your beloved car with your beloved wife or buy another once your settled!( assuming that ever happens)

I've already lost many girlfriends and a few prospective future wives because of my love for my cars... I don't know if I find that funny or extremely sad. hehe
