Over Spray on Paint Job
Uggh, I thought I found a good painter, took everything off for paint job, but now a week later I am discovering over sprayon my 68. Question for group ... any problems with overspray in following areas:
1 - radiator - core is oversprayed red on nose side (not much, but its definately red in some areas)
2 - just had brakes bled, and mechanic tells me that one side overspray on Frt Brk Assembly/Pads are glazed.
3 - May be a coincidence - but speedom now sticks around 0 -30 range, never did that before.
I have not noticed any braking issues ..... anything I should be concerned with on 1-3? Other than those .... the car looks great.
Thanks all

Re: Over Spray on Paint Job (3speed68)
Overspray is more of a cosmetic issue than a functional one. On the radiator, they are already painted most of the time so some overspray will not affect performance but it does look like crap. If it is on the rotors I would clean it off with lacquer thinner but once again it will not hurt performance as it will wear off quite quickly. I really doubt that a speedo problem has any thing to do with the paint job. I am always amazed that many so called good painters will not take the time to mask a job properly. Good Luck, Craig

Re: Over Spray on Paint Job (lason)
This is bit off topic, but I ran over a can of black spray paint in my white '89 a few months ago.
