Default Fuel Drip under right front fender...

I installed my new battery, works like a charm but I started my car today and noticed a bit of a fuel leak or drip or something under the right front fender. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Fuel pump or hoses. Fix it before it fixes you. :cry

By right, do you mean driver or passenger side?

And who the heck is Frodo Baggins anyways?

Could be brake fluid. Smell it to make sure its fuel and not something else.

I was talking to BSeery and he said it'll probably be the fuel line or pump as well, it's on the passenger side. :cry

 Apparently frodo baggins is from lord of the rings (a movie) but I haven't seen it. Everyone in Off Topic says i look like him

Fuel pump, gotta be fuel pump.
Check the lines coming in and leaving it could be one of those that just needs tightening.

I could only hope! I'll check it out after when my engine cools down a bit.

You could be right on track with one of those flexible fuel hoses there Frodo!
It could also be a rusted out fuel or fuel return line, they both run through that area and are subjected to road grime.

I had a rusted fuel line in my 69 Camaro. It had rusted right through. Started out as just a gas smell in the garage. Progressed to a leak with a puddle over night. Cut out the section and put in rubber fuel line till I had time to replace the line. Bubba fix but it kept me going.

I'm thinking it's just something to do with the soft line because i wasn't driving anywhere and the puddle was right under the passenger side wheel well. If i was driving, i'd suspect that but who knows...I'll look at it tomorrow when there is light and see.

Thanks for the help

One of these is the culprit. Don't let it go! Glass does not melt in a pretty fashion. And those hoses are NOT available from GM. They will try to sell you bulk fuel line. Does not work; it crimps. They are molded hoses. So you have to go aftermarket.

Thanks Paul, I greatly appreciate the help (again). I'll be making a trip to napa or kragen or somewhere and pick up some hoses.
