Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone's up for a get together for lunch this Sunday Jan 5th, 1pm at Texas Steaks on Ritchie Hwy (Route 2), about 4 miles north of Route 50? Cali77's going to be in town and we were talking in IM and thought it would be fun to get some of the forum folks together. Texas Steaks has really good food, fast service and is a place with ample parking for those who keep their corvettes on the road in winter. (like me!) :D Drive your corvette if you can. :yesnod:

Juliet thanks for phone call. I'll be there to meet you all and BTW Texas Steaks is the place I went last summer. Met some good people there and went out to a bar right on the docks off of college parkway. I'm going to CHI-CHI's tonight for some Margarita's and chips and salsa, guess I'm having withdraws from San Diego :lol: I'll bring my new Mavica camera to post the picks of the cars, I can hold 1500 pics.

Juliet, Kym is still at work right now but when she gets home Ill run it by her. We got the Vette runnin this winter. We love excuses to get it out and drive togeather. If the weather is good and shes up to it, im in. Weve hav'nt been to that particular steak house yet. Ill post back later tonight and let you know.

Kym is gonna invite a couple a Vetters that belong to the gym where she works. They're C5'rs but they'll do i guess.. Are C5's welcome too? :jester

Theyre calling for PM snow showers. Kyms getting over a bit sore throat but at this point shes still up to it. If the snow holds out we plan on drivin the vette. So far we're still planning to be there. Knock on wood. :)

I regret to inform that Kyms bout with her cold had not gotten better. So pardon the pun that shes a bit under the weather, and the weather is not all that hot either. We would hate to spread our cold/flu germs to you faithfull forum members so we have opted out for the meeting today. We were looking forward to it and will miss the fun. Hey guys! :seeya It was fun meeting everyone. :) Two of us drove vettes despite the 2 inches of snow (Jawwski's C5 and my C4) and we had 6 CF members, 8 people in all. :yesnod: My C4 is like downhill iceskating with no brakes! :lol: Actually, it wasn't *that* bad. Greg was in front and 'tested' the driveway. When his truck in 4WD went sliding I decided to park in the street instead. :boxing When's the next snowstorm scheduled for?
