I think Steve (Merlin522) has them in his :reddevil , so hopefully he sees this thread and has the answers for your questions.

Corey, if you're just using your car on the street do you need more then the stock rotor? Just wondering if you're going to autocross or something?

I was thinking about buying these for my car. I decided not to. Heres why.
I usually drive mine on the street. I even drive up to the mountains and I drive pretty fast on the twisties. The current pad/rotor setup I have seems to work great. I dont' get brake fade and they stop great. I even have manual brakes and I can get it down from 100mph - 110mph just fine time after time.
Also those rotors are slotted to "vent" the gasses better. What gasses? I have been told and read that porsche used to cross drill their rotors to vent gasses way back in the day. This was helpful back then.
I have read that brake gasses are no longer a problem. The pads that they now use do not produce the gasses. I decided to just get new rotors and hawk semi-metalic pads. I suppose if your a racer than slotted rotors may help to reduce heat, but I doubt even that would make much of a difference.
