What Engine to buy for my 71????
My '71 Roadster has the LT1 spec plate but has a '72 Saginaw Camaro 350, which sounds like a diesel truck.....so out it is going to go. I am going to show the car but it should also have some GO (at least 400HP). I would like to retain some of the standard Corvette Engine details..e.g. valve covers & ignition shield (none of which I have--hint).....what do you folks suggest???

Or may also consider an engine from AR Racing. Me and a few others on the forum have bought from them recently and could answer any questions you may have. Just do a search on 383 or AR Racing.

just check the engine performance in my sig!!! 12.19 @ 115.04 mph..
The engine to achieve this ET is from AR Racing... and was less than $3k!!!!

cheers for the leads...this will give me a great start on what to build. I've already found some info on the ZZ4...apparently I will need a different clutch and distributor.
