Default Garage clean up time?

I think it is about time to start a major garage clean up project. Do you agree?

These are all of my babies. In the foreground is the 90 coupe, then under the blue car cover is the 73 LS4 Coupe (it is on dollies so I can get it into the area between the doors), then the newest family member - a '64 Corvair conv, and at the rear is the 73 L82 conv. Four cars in a three car garage. :D The new truck has to sit outside :(

I'd send the Corvair outside... Reminds me of that 'Sesame Street' song..."Which One of These Things Does Not Belong".

But the Corvair had 4-wheel independent suspension years ahead of the Vette. Anyway it is insured as a collector so has to be stored in a locked garage.

Garage is too small anyway. Build a bigger one. You need about a 50 car garage.

There IS a V-8 conversion kit for the Corvair. I would let it stay after such a transplant...

I can be in Round Rock in about 3.5 hours. If you'll have the Corvair gassed up, I'll just run on back over here and store it for you. :p: :steering:

Boy - I thought two cars in the 2 car garage was tight - with all the misc
crap that goes with them. Well, at least yours are all in one piece. they get
harder to store after you break 'em into many pieces. My 75 chassis is
currently sitting under a tarp in the driveway (and a few inches of snow).

 to the two 73s

I thought mine was tight. Of course I would just fill it w/ more junk if I had a two car garage. :) (otherwise known as a frame off)

Tom: "Hi, my name's Tom and I am a vehicle-holic."

Forum (in unison): "Hi Tom"

I started LOL when I saw the pic, then I thought, "hey, I have four vehicles myself" :bb Thanks for making me smile, Tom

What I want to know is how did you pursuade your wife's to let you get more cars? I practically had to sneak the vette home. I can only imagine getting another one!

Not that I wouldn't mind a C4 in my fleet. :)

That Garage is Clean. I'm ashamed to take a pic of mine! Here I have a 24 X 24 A- Frame cinderblock structure with a dirt floor. That is going to be taken care of in the spring when I go for the big concrete pour on the floor! :smash:

How often do you realistically get to drive each of them? We are currently at 3 cars (Vette, Eclipse, and wife's SUV) and I would like to someday get another C3 or C4 but I wonder if one of the cars would suffer. Does it ever get to a point where they just don't get driven?

EDIT: Looks damn good BTW. :)

Tom, yurs is kinda tidy compared to mine. I would post a pic but theres not enough bandwidth on the web to cover all the junk. I need a dump truck. A tandem at that.

Here is another pic to show the clutter:

Terry,
That can get to be a problem. A person only has X amout of money and time to spend on the "car hobby" (or adiction). Two hobby cars equals one half X for each. Four cars is one quarter X for each. If two cars have major projects that need to be done, you then have to make a decesion as to which to do now and which to put off.

Clutter? I don't see any clutter. Just valuable merchandise...
