Default poly main seal?

I need to replace my rear main seal in the spring and was wondering
if the seal is available in a poly version. I'm running all poly suspension
pieces and would use poly seals if available.
thanx wade

Wade, get yourself a Felpro rear main seal which if installed correctly will give you years of leak free service. While you're at it, get the one piece pan seal from Felpro. I did my '76 a few months ago and these are great gaskets. Frankly, I don't know if a poly seal is available, but then again, I don't know why you would want it. Your front end componet material has nothing to do with gasket material. Good luck.

bushings and gaskets are two different things and as far as I know there is no such thing as a poly gasket other than the aftermarket rubber gaskets used on oil pans and valve covers but any rear main seal for a small block will be rubber. I also agree that Felpro is the way to go.
