Radiator Shroud Air Intake - Needed?
I removed my old radiator and I'm about to install the new one. I've seen several engines with the intakes to the breather removed. Should I leave mine off? Which way is best? Also, I'm replacing all the fan belts. Any other ideas while the rad is out?

The intakes gather cool air so I believe they are preferred although maybe not absolutely necessary. In California I think they are smog necessary- maybe different where you live.

Thanks Bruno. The hard plastic running on the passenger side is broken, but I think I'll re-install for now and order a new one.

Check your radiator support member for rust outs and if you wanted to detail your engine, now is a excellent time to do the front of the engine.
