what is your favorite (individual) c-3?
not just a year or option code but a specific vette. maybe one you own now, one you've owned in the past or one you've seen here or elsewhere. i'll start it off. although there are quite a few cars here on the forum that i would absolutely love to have, the one i've seen that most perfectly matches what i'd do if i had the car and the money is chris mcdonalds '69 in the march '03 issue of 'vette'. if i owned this car i wouldn't spend money to change anything. if i built it myself, i probably would have chosen a sligthly different wheel (like the similar wheel on the '54 on pg. 60) and a little less shiny stuff under the hood but otherwise, it's just freakin gorgeous.

WOW, to many to chose from. I'm always seeing Vettes on here and saying, Man I'd love to have that Vette!!
So for now I'll have to be happy with mine!!

To be honest with you, I never met one I didn't like! But my favorites are the chrome bumper cars and the 80 thru 82 bidy styles.
Just so happens theat's what I own. :yesnod:

Someone had a post here the other day wanting to know if you could put a Chrome Bumper on an '80, I wish they hadn't brought that up, been thinking about it ever since. I think the next Vette I build will be a hybrd '80 with the Chrome Bumpers and that big back window, May even be Yellow too! JIM

I'd like to have my first Corvette back. It was my favorite...my FRC is a very close second.
My first was a '69 Daytona Yellow w/black interior and L46 4-speed bought in 1973 when I was a senior in HS back in Panama City, FL. Normal power acc. plus tilt wheel, A/C, black vinyl HT & black soft top, factory side exhaust, chrome gill inserts.
That car was fast, fine and a real head turner and what a chick magnet out on the beach!!! This car was a force to be reckoned with on the street in those days and especially in a small backwater town like PC was. I sold it for another Vette and have always regretted selling that first one. I've often wondered whatever happened to it over the years. :yesnod:

I have to say that I love 80-82's as much as I do 68-72's, but because of $$$ I'm biased to the 80-82's, even though I've owned an 82' that costed more than what I could buy a chromed bumper for!

I really like my 82... I just need to get another one to hot rod.
And yes I would keep it a crossfire injected motor. I would shoot for 350 Hp...

Re: what is your favorite (Red73)
I really miss my first. It was a black 79 that was really nice and dependable.
One of my favorites on the forum is Red73. To me this looks really great. There are so many on here that are just fantastic. I love the black ones with all the shiny on them. Lasse, Onebad69, and yeah Chris McDonalds.
OK, I give, I like them all.
