Default heigth/gaskets

My boyfriend and I have the ultimate question that we have never got a straight answer on,

What is the piston to deck height on a 77 vette, small block zz4?? also in trying to get a 10.1 cr or better using 68cc heads, what is the proper gasket??

the deck is probably 9.0025. I think that's the standard. The head gasket to use might probably be jegs part #720-1130 compressed nominal thikness .018''-.020''. 2/pkg.

The best way to raise the compression and performance would probably be (and more expensive) would be to have the block decked to a .000 piston to deck height. It would help combustion. But thinner head gaskets are always a good place to start.
