Opinions on what color would look good with the medium bright blue interior??
The car has an old pearl white paint job which I,m in the process of stripping ..I would like to go with a metallic blue or silver color that would be correct for the era ...Is there a site that would show and list these colors ? Then how would I go about finding the paint company that produces them... :chevy

1969 LeMans Blue.
See sig for a picture, and there are other cars on the board that have the same color. Perhaps they'll chime in too.

My '68 is Silverstone, which is the '68 silver, but I wouldn't paint that car anything but Lemans (lighter) or International (darker) blue. Both are '68 colors.

My '69 was white when I bought her.I have bright blue interior.
She needed a paintjob and I couldn't decide to go with white or the original color Lemans blue.I asked opinions on the forum...twice.
The Lemans blue was the choice of most.I went Lemans blue and am soooo glad I did.

I never really thought about black, but I like the way 69myway and 1bad69 cars look ....I will be replacing the original hood with a L88 and wheels with Torg thrust 2,s just not sure what size rims......Any interest in the original big block hood or rims I may sell them off ....pics are on my web page...I,m down to Lemans Blue or Black :cheers:

What about a darker blue? Mine is similar to 70 Mulsane or is it bridghampton (I can never keep them straight), or 72 Targa.

Another vote for lemans blue here. Keep in mind that if you paint it black, you'll want to make sure your body panels are absolutely *p*e*r*f*e*c*t. Black looks great when done right, but if you have any little flaw in the fiberglass, then it will be 10x more noticable when the car is black than if it's any other color. Lemans blue is my second favorite blue to Nassau blue. Very rich noticable colors.

I just remembered, I think Lemans blue in 68 is a different color than in 69. I recall it being darker. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
BTW, if you're looking for another really cool blue, I have a 68 Camaro that's original Grotto blue metallic. It's another sweet color.
