Question on storage for prolonged times on a 1969
Any suggestions on the fact that I have a corvette 69, 427, and cannot get it out due to snow and the road, and was wondering if this car has to sit for the next few months, the safest way to care for the car, any special techniques?
concerned about the engine?
BatterY I know what needs to be done
any more advice

Change oil, filter and lube.
Fill up gastank and add Stabil to gas.
Remove battery.
Inflate tires to 35 lbs.

All my Corvettes will sit for weeks, if not months. I don't do anything special. This past weekend, for some unknown reason, I decided to start the old 54 and let it run till it warmed up. Put it in gear a few times, moved it back and forth in the garage a few feet each way, then shut it off. :) It is a good idea to keep the gas tank full to prevent condensation. Also, Sta-Bil is a good idea. I try to do those things, but other than that, I do nothing. Chuck

Thanks for the info, do not need to place oil ovefill? and then drain when you want to start again
Also what battery is the best for this type of car, any suggestions, most cold crank amps

I don't overfill anything. With my memory, I'd probably forget to drain off the excess. :)
I have a repro battery in my 69. I do keep a "float" charger on it. I also use a WIRTH CO knife cut off switch. Don't know the CCA specs of that battery, but it's about 3 years old, and starts the car fine. Chuck
