i was thinking about this. what would i spend my money on? what would i do as a hobby? if my vette was exactly the way i wanted it, no problems, and nothing going wrong, and was perfect in every way, what would i have to do? i suppose i would sleep more.
oh well, im glad its not like that! theres always something to do on the vette. :smash:

I think I'd rev it as high as it would go in neutral, then drop it into gear, with all the brakes on, then power brake like that as high as it would go, then throw it into reverse. Then I'd have lots of things to work on.

I was perfectly happy with my Vette until I stumbled upon this forum. Should I go broke redoing this thing some of you are gonna be sued.

If you drive your vette at all...you'll always find something that needs fixing over time. Trust me, it'll never end.

I guess I'm lazy... I'd just sit on the porch and watch my hands heal (from all of the cuts, bruises, etc. they've received from working on the Corvette :D ).

I am basically at the point you describe. So I drive. But now it is time for another project.

I'm praying that day will come. When it does, I'm buying another Vette or a Ford GT40 kit car.

After I build the custom 74 I want . . . then it's time to look for a project C2. After the C2 is complete, I have no plans in place. But I probably have 10-15 years to come up with something. ;)

This one cracks me up as it's been three years on mine and probably at least 3 to go at my pace.
My buddy Joe, some of you may know as the Woodworker on the forum, has been working on his for years. All that's left is the leather seat covers. Joe has been painting the bolts in the engine bay all winter. Cracks me up, fortunely for Joe he has the time, wish I did.

Well mine is finished, unless changing the brake booster for a hydraulic type is in the works.....
I think that after all the mods I have done....DPFI, r/pinion, fan, HVAC, wiring, insrtumentation, interior, tranny, wheels/tires, brakes, suspension, headlights, wipers, grill-lights, rear lights, only thing lift is to get a welder buddy to duplicate the chrome bumpers in aluminum........that i't's about tricked out far as I can go....
