Default bought a brand new set of heads today...

yup! a brand new set of World Products heads today from Summit...
the heads i had bought were junk...one had even been shaved further than the other one...so much in fact that it was unusable...
we hadnt noticed and they did seal on the top but not even close on the bottom...DUMPED oil into my intake runners at the rate of 1 Qt every 10 miles! we ran it about 40 miles total trying diagnos the problem...
im gonna deal with the guy i got them from Monday...
anyways...i bought these...
should kick as s now! we figure it will be around 325-335 hp...WOO HOO!!

Keep us posted on these heads. I have a new set too that I just finished a minor port & polish to using the Standard Abrasives kit. I won't be using them for a while so I would like your input on their performance.
Thanks,
Gary

I have these same heads on my 69 vert. I bought them bare and built them myself. Motor only has 30 minutes run in time. Haven't driven car yet, Temp outside is in the teens. Can't wait to see how she performs...!!!

Yeah I bought the WP S/R torquers about 5-6 months ago. I'm nopt sure which car I'm going to use them in yet. I bought the heads from Dirt Track Thunder for $659 a pair delivered. They assemble them and use springs rated to .525" or there abouts. They used to advertise on eBay but I haven't gone there in a while so I don't know if they're still on. I think the WP part # is 4266 - 67 cc chambers 170 runners. they were pretty smooth and the intakes were close to ported already. I mainly cleaned up around the pockets and lapped the valves in.

You shoul dbe happy with those heads. I think they are the best bang for the buck out there today and probably the best iron heads for a street motor. Keep us posted.
