My garage is starting to look more like a garage.
I got a vette on jack stands with no engine in it, two motors on engine stands, a transmission in the corner, spare parts hanging on the wall, oil and fuel stains on the floor and tools everywhere.
Ahhhh, life is good.

Hey, sounds like my garage. Feels kinda good doesn't it? I was cleaning the old engine and transmission and had them out on the driveway. Anyways, my neighbors were giving me funny looks as they drove by. What, you've never seen a dirty Muncie before?

I think mine would prefer me cleaning a trans quietly in the drive rather that tuning my eng with full throttle blips. I tell them to glad I don't have a bb with side pipes. :)

The engine is running pretty good although it is smoking a touch at idle. I wanted to get it out of the way so I could clean up the eng bay just a little and also wanted to check out the clutch sincee I developed a vibration when in gear. The clutch looks fine but the right eng mount was broke. I also am trying to locate a t-5 and tpi, hopefully on a cheap running camaro so I can check the tranny out. I saw one for sale in my area for $1700 but didn't jump on it, now I can't find another with a 350 tpi and 5 speed even on e-bay. Oh well, might have to purchase them separately. What's your latest plan for your vette?
