Default Restoration... Do you use rooms in your house to store things?

I'm completely out of room so it was a complete necessity to put the hood of this vette somewhere safe. A vacant bedroom was the best solution. I know everyone probably has thought of it, but I wonder what kind of hell you all go through by actually doing it. I'm single and have no one to say yea or nay, so it was just which extra bedroom inherits the parts as I go along.

Yeah, I put stuff everywhere I can. I have a carb and intake I still haven't put on yet in one of the other rooms.

My wife must be jealous of the vette and its associated parts. My entire walk in closet is a parts house and some clothes here and there. In my library I had a Polished 6/71 blower and intake on the floor, out of the way and she wanted me to move it somewhere else. Guess all the guest seemed to flock around it to check it out and then wnted to see what else I had. Hey, you want to check out my frame off restoration on my vette...and we would be gone...Man I hated getting rid of that blower..

Yeah, you single guys are lucky. My wife would kill me if I tried those tricks. Any new parts I get are kept in the gargae IN the original shipping boxes until installed. :cry :nopity
Last winter though, she did let me paint POR-15 on front suspension pieces in the kitchen!

HA! At this point, my enitre unfinished basement is full of parts! It looks like a vette explosion happened! I only have one problem though, I want to build my home theater this year, so I guess I better finally finish the vette!

No Way
Everything has to stay in the garage. But I have the same rule reversed Nothing but car and truck stuff is allowed in the garage. except lawn mower bicycles stuff like that. My family has a bad habit of if they can't find a place to put something and it is in their way it ends up in the garage. Well I put an end to all that.
