hello, all im looking for places to purchas a new rear glass for my 81 vette
as the roofers left some debris on the roof of the house and you know what happened after that man was i mad thanks to all who can help ART

Hello First Time, and welcome to the forum! I remember seeing a rear glass in the parts wanted/for sale section, but it was already sold and for a earlier year. You might want to post in there and see what comes up? You might also want to check back with GM to see if new ones are still available, would also give you an idea of what they are worth. :cheers:

How much are you looking to pay for one? Naw, I don't have one. Zip and some of the other vendors sell new ones for around $600-700 I believe. Gary Gruhala is also a good place to look for used parts. I see them on e-bay all the time too. 78-82 should fit. Post a wanted to buy here in the parts for sale too as Big Fish said. I see a lot of cars being parted out.

First time welcome aboard.
My advise to you is watch for people parting out a car. When I parted my 80 out (donor) I shipped the back window to the bone yard with the remains. I never gave it a thought to pull it out. I think you could get one cheap that way. I can also call the junk yard that I had to pay $40.00 to come get what was left and see if they still have the window. I am sure they do cause they do not deal in vette parts.
