Default My Vette has been neglected for too long!

http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/63banshee/

I guess I can’t break away from Pontiacs long enough to care for the Roadster like it deserves. Over a year ago one rear bearing went bad and a trailing arm rebuilt turned into a possible frame-off resto. Shortly after that I came across a Pontiac that I “had to have.” Since then I have not touched the Vette more then a few times. I’ve bought a number of parts for it trying to spawn some inspiration, but still nothing has come of it.

I think I’m going to sell the car and parts as is, or put the drive train back in it and sell it running plus the parts. If you should know of anyone that would be interested in it please pass on my contact info. AIM ID: djohnsonARC, e-mail: sixty_three_banshee@hotmail.com, or via the forum IM.

For those of you that don’t know much about my Roadster it is a 62K mile survivor. All numbers match (motor, tranny, alternator, starter, etc) except now it has a ’69 4-barrel on it, the rear gears are now 3.90:1, and the emissions equipment is long gone.

The price is right. Contact me if you’re interested and I will provide any information you need and additional pictures. I can deliver the car within a reasonable distance from the D/FW area at no extra expense.

The rest of you can now talk me out of selling. ;)

I know what it is to have more projects than time to get them done. If you do sell, some fortunate buyer will be getting one of the nicest looking Vettes on the forum.

Yes, no charge. That is because she is a Roadster... soft top delete.

You're probably right, but I don't see her being finished for quite a long time.

I have received many inquiries already… unexpectedly. Bear with me as I attempt to put together a complete parts list, pictures, and details. I hope to have most of it complete by late tonight.

Thanks!

I’m still working on the list. Work was crazy the past couple days and I spent last night and today picking up yet another Pontiac (parts car). I think I’m going to put all the information and pictures on my forum Web site. I’ll let you know when I do. Thanks for your patience!
Dave

I have placed some information on the following Web site:

http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/63banshee/

There is a nearly complete list of parts I have for the car on that site. I will be making updates shortly.

Well Banshee I like what I see in your vette, but I'm looking for a trade. I've got it posted. I don't want to push it on anyone, but it's not a bad deal depending on what you want for the car.

Default Re: nice 68! (MNJack)

hehe

I'm sure he would.

I bought a '63 Cat convertible that was originally a 2-barrel/automatic/AM/bench seat/standard wheel/non-air/ps/pb car. I'm turning it into a Tri-power/4-spd/AM-FM/bucket seat/8-lug wheel/air/ps/pb car. I've used two donor cars thus far, a ’64 Catalina HT and a ’63 Grand Prix. If the painter gets off his “hands” I’ll have it on the road by May… Makes me wish I had a paint booth.
