Default most likly a dumb question

but.... i dont know......

how do you take the back rims off the 78?? both frount rims came off no problems... but both backs wont come off to save my life..... anything im doing wrong??????

No tricks, they should just come off like any other rim. If you are talking about the brake rotor then that's another thing... They are rivited from the factory. :confused:

what i think happed is they rusted from water hitting em and then just lack of care "last oner NOT ME" so i think they will need some lube and some good pulling but i was like hell with this last night and thoight ill just make it someone elses problem whgen i take it in for tires hehe

If you are talking about the wheel rims (like the part the tire goes onto :crazy: ), then just give a little rap in the center with a hammer (2lb sledge or smaller) and that should persuade the rim off of the hub. Probably just rusted on.

When I chose to do the f/r suspension - had a similar problem, but w/ the front wheels. I asked my Dad the same question :) Just need to put some muscle into - or if you have a large enuf pry bar - worse comes to worse - take it to Discount Tire or something - tell them you have a slow leak you want fixed :) - - wish I had better suggestions for you - best of luck.

Soak in WD40, make sure all lugs are about 1/8th inch loose, do some spirited turns around the block, when you hear the wheel rocking around....all done. :jester
