Default Windshield Wiper Motor for 1969

I'm trying to cleanup the mess of wires and vacuum lines on my firewall, although my wipers and washers work fine, I noticed that the wiring to my wipers/washers don't look anything like the diagrams of a stock setup. There is a dual connector that has a blue and yellow wire leading to it. According to pictures of a 69 wiper connection looks like it plugs into the front of the washer cover. On my car there is no place to plug this wire into, instead there are a couple of wires plugged into the connector running under the washer cover.
It looks like this is not the correct washer/wiper for my 69, I'm wondering if I order one from a parts store am I going to get the correct looking washer/wiper that will match up with my wiring?

The 69 system is unique, and has a separate windshield/headlight washer device off the the drivers side of the main wiper motor. The "main" part of the wiper motor has a 3 port outlet, with one of those ports feeding the other 2 ports on the washer system. I believe that the double plug shown in the pic plugs into the washer solenoid on the original system, which your motor doesn't have. So....don't know what the extra wires with the spade crimp on connectors go to :) Chuck

Can't tell from the picture about the motor, but it sure looks like a custom wiring job. :chevy

I don't know where that wiper motor came from, but it does not match the connector available on my '72, which would match your wiring there....
I never seen any other motor with that red main power wire coming out into the harness on any other car but a vette....so it's from maybe a '68 or something??? I dunno....I got the last year of wiper door availability....
sometimes I think i'ts cool....other times I HATE it....can't win....
