dinky electric scooter is faster than my vette!`
Well, not in the 1/4 mile, but doing a simple task like getting groceries, my time was faster with the scooter. Why?
1. no opening/closing the garage door
2. no warmup/no stop for gas
3. no parking at the store, no walking from the parking space to the store, simply ride down the isles
4. no need for a cart
5. much faster in the store than walking
Much to my surprise it was very cool in the store; hey cutie, hop on! LOL
Door to door was 9 minutes vs. 11-13 with any of my cars. Not selling my cars, they do serve a purpose, like any trip over 3 miles :D

I have a City Bug Electric Scooter....Zips around town at 12 mph....folds up like a suit case.....goes into the stores and resturants with me...Recharge about 6 hrs....no problem, I have spares on the charger....If I go long.....20 miles or more....I pack the fully charged spares. I can go ten out and ten back easy.....My favorite means of transportation around town.....No need to look for parking....no door dings.....no exposure to crazy drivers out on the street......I love my electric scooter... :seeya Cappy

The big rage around here is Golf Carts. A lot of the guys are building Golf Carts with Custom Paint and Chrome Wheels, Flames and on and on.
The State of Tennessee has agreed to offer a license plate a Golf cart as a specilaized vehicle if it can pass DOT requirments of HeadLights, DOT Tires, Blinkers and Brake lights.
I have seen several Exotic Sport Carts at shows this year and a few '57 Chevrocarts and many othercustom bodied carts.
I don't want no sissy painted up golf cart, Give me a 4x4 Kawasaki MULE,with the cab option, OD Green with Mudders and Diesel Engine.........................JIM :lol:
