Default Santa came early......new toy for the garage.

Two-ton hoist....

....and folded up for storage.

There's another piece coming. It doubles as an engine stand. I'll show you how when it arrives.

$CA299.00 ($US189.00) including the parts to come. :smash:

I don't know how I lived without mine. My last engine hoist was stationary. :D

Heck I wished I'd had one in the garage! I could have hung the wife by the neck when she bitched! I still miss her :smash: but my aim is getting better!

For a serious motorhead that is a must. It took me only 40 mins to take the engine out last weekend, thanks to that little helper!

Looks nice. My dad setup a comealong on a sliding rail mounted to the ceiling in his old shop for pulling engines. Really worked pretty slick.

Whitby it is, I got such a deal on a heavy duty ( 1.25 ton ) engine stand that I decided to build a motor in my basement this winter :D
