Default Hey Steve aka Merlin

Put your car in the National Corvette Museum.

Just my 2 cents.

Somebody oughta run that car and see what's capable of... It'd be a shame to see it in a museum or collection (well, at least before running it to the limit :)). My $.02 worth...

Its not a Corvette, except for a modified body.

It's not a Corvette? REALLY! I wasn't aware of that. Hmmm, so - it has all the original body panels. Orignal Deck. Completely stock interior. Basically every part that did not need to be upgraded for performance reasons, I left Corvette - but NOOOO (said in Steve Martin voice). Larry is not happy. Fine, suit yourself. What shall we call it? I know. It's now a Supra. From now on, all Forum members please refer to my car as a Supra.... and we thank you for your support! Geez. Try to stick up for my fellow C-3ers & get us some more respect in the performance circles and Larry would simply toss me out of the club...

I don't know what to say: Larry you must be
If I had 100 grand to spare, the ultimate C3 would be in my garage next to my 75.

So i dont have a corvette either? is mine the non-boost supra? damnit! i knew modifying the (everything) would have its conciquenses, but jeez. i guess i better go drop out of my corvette racing club, since i no longer own one. i better tell rich that his supercharged 99 isnt a vette either. actually i better just let everyone doing better than a 13 second quarter know that they dont have a vette. oh wait, thats %90 of the club! i suppose those Motion vettes are just good looking supras too huh.

Larry82  ever stepped in something you wish you hadnt? thats what that comment make me think of. :smash:

i dont want to see it in a measuem. thats too boring for a car that represents mass destruction on wheels. i say get the numbers done on it then cruise it every weekend. hell the car is famous now, i bet people are going to spot it on the road. just try not to cause too many rubbernecking accidents. ive only chalked one up, but im sure merlin could average 20-30 a drive.

Speaking of just cruising in the car instead of putting it in a museum....this could get pretty fun.
Steve - Just start touring the country in your free time (if you have any....probably not much) and this will be like an Elvis sighting thing. You'll have people posting on message boards all over the US saying "I saw it today!!!! I saw Merlin!" It would be like the whole I saw Elvis in Walmart thing.
