For what it's worth (not much) these people seem to think that Merlin's car is "show-junk" and not much else. Others seem to think that the engine has parts on it that don't even work (like the blowers!) If anyone's a part of this board, or just wants to log on to show them the light.....have at it.

It wouldn't do any good to try to argue with them....these are the same guys that will runj 70+ mph on a bike....and grab the front brake hard enough to make the bike stand-up on the front wheel.....not to bright in my book.

Well, my vote for quote of the year came out of that thread Interesting concept :rolleyes: Just ignore these kids. Most of them drive Hyundais anyway. I used to enjoy reading through posts on my stats page http://www.stevenkamis.com/cars/stats.asp Now I can't even read them. There is a lot of positive stuff, but a lot of absolute moronic stupidity that makes me so ashamed to be a human that I want to immediately run out & commit hari kari. This past week I have fallen completely in love with the car again. I do have an offer on the table for $85, but I'm going to turn it down. Thanks to Aaron (WashingtonRacer), we got some good videos today. I'll post them tomorrow. I am feeling more comfortable with the car every day. It's an absolute pure adrenalin rush. After having driven it, there is nothing these folks can say to bother me. When someone steps up to the plate & comes up with a street car that drives as smooth as this thing, handles as well & scares the daylights out of me like it does, I will bow down to their superiority. Until that time, they are just jealous trash talkers who should keep their mouths shut until they have something intelligent to contribute.

An old stock car racer told me once that "those that can do. those that can't deride and ridicule". Haven't looked back at that post since it seemed to be taking a bad turn on what should have been an interesting end to a great buildup process.
