I sold a 71 Vette today to a lady who is going to give it to her husband as a surprise for Christmas.

Do you think he will be surprised to find it in his driveway Christmas morning.

She was, also, very attractive.

Could it get any better. Good looking wife who buys her husband his dream Corvette.

Sounds like something my wife would do. When I got my vette 3 weeks ago, I pulled up with it on the trailor and she had never seen it and I started it and it blew a big butt cloud of black smoke out the back and died then after about 5 minutes and about 10 cranks it finally started and idled at about 1500 rpm still bellowing black smoke and she was jumping all around in the driveway in joy ??!!?? :confused: I drove around the block just to get a feel for it since I hadnt even drove it yet and then up into the garage and hit her new washing machine on accident (absolutly NO BRAKES anddamn these vettes have long front ends, lol) and she didnt give a crap, she just wanted to sit in it. I think she is more of a vette lover than myself. We have all kinds of models cars (all hot rods of course) through out the house and a lot of corvette perofenalia (sp?) and most of the vette stuff is hers. This by the way is also the same woman that surprised me for no reason by getting me a subscription to penthouse and playboy. Damn I love my wife :thumbs: .

Knowing my luck here of late, the only thing I can expect to happen is for an ugly girl to tell me something's wrong with my 'vette! :mad

Cool wife. I'm just hoping when I get married that my wife understands why I need to have so many 'vettes... I've only got one now, but in a couple of years, they're gonna be multiplying like bunnies.

And to think, my wife wants me to sell one of mine to get a "practical" car :eek: My dream is that I wake up on Christmas morning to find a single little box under the tree, and the keys to a new Z06 inside. And then find the car in the garage with the big red bow on it - you've seen the Lexus commercials... :D

You are correct. This gal did not know anything about cars or Corvettes. Just that her husband had to have one.

She did have me bring the car to her mechanics shop. For 1 1/2 hours, there were three mechanics checking it out. Put it on the rack, drove it all around.
Checked it out good, and gave it a good bill of health.
