Default I'm about fed up with Wilcox

About two months ago I ordered my interior from Wilcox. It costed me around $2500. I still havn't recieved some of it. They were supposed to give me a 5% discount, which is a significant amount on an order that large. They forgot it in the bill and said they'd credit me back in November. Called Dec 2nd and he said he forgot to do it. But he would do it that day. Then I called on the 9th and he told me he credited it but it wouldn't go through until I got my next statement. I talked to a banker and they said BS, it would go through when he credited me. Called this morning and he said he forgot to credit me and he'd do it today. Just checked my account. Still no credit. I'm really tired of getting the runaround. :mad

Surprised to hear you are having problems with them. I have never placed a large order like that, but the small orders I have placed there have come through with very good service, and good quality. :flag

Hey Josh, let me give you a piece of advice on a similar situation that happened to me. I sent a credit company a balance transfer on an account and I mistakingly sent them too much money. So when I got my statement I called them and asked when I could expect my credit. They said, "no problem, we send out credits at the end of the month." End of the month, nothing. I called again, they said "next week". I called then, they said "next week." This went on for 2 MONTHS. So before I called my lawyer I called the Better Business Bureau. They told me "calling ANYONE for ANY reason is a waste of time. If one or two calls don't get it done, send them a certified letter with all the information regarding the case." I sent the letter last week, I got the check on Tuesday, only cause they wouldn't deliver without a signature on Monday.

Like I said, put all information, the name of the guy you have talked to and what not.

Worked for me. ;)

Just what I was going to say. I try to keep the number for the BBB in my wallet just in case I get crap at a store. I'll just give them a call at the customer service counter and see what happens :D Thankfully I haven't had a problem.

I have bought from Willcox several times and all were very good transactions.

I met him a few years ago and he is a fine person.

I have reccommended him to many people.

I am surprised you have had problems.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going on vacation for 12 days tomorrow morning. So I'll see what happens by the time I get back. Come January 3rd I'll send a certified letter. It's a shame that it has to go this far. I've been more than patient with them. :nonod:

I'm sorry to hear that. Ive delt with Willcox several times and thought the service and quality was great.

Hope they get their act togather before I order from them again.
