Hmm, that's cool. I usually put a light coat of oil on valve cover gaskets but I have completely switched to rubber/steel gaskets. Thanks!

I use this stuff called Tite Seal. It is used on cork gaskets used on small aircraft engines. It is a sticky tan goo that has never leaked.
