My vette passed for collector's status!
i got my approval letter today in the mail from the insurance company. i can't pick up the plates until jan 1st when it officially is 25 years old, but it is 100% approved.

Wow, strict rules there. For us it needs to 20 years old, you can drive it anywhere except not in January and needs to be for the most part stock. I just got hobbyist plates instead, that way I don't need for it to be stock. Insurance is already $300/yr full coverage here (assuming clear driving record) :D

The car has to be stock??!!?? I was wanting to get mine registered as a collectors car in a few years but I am planning on getting a little custom with it (as in fuel injection and stuff like that).
