Default Q-jet info

Is there a site with accurate info on rebuilding a 69 MV4 q-jet?

Thanks

Go to http://www.corvettefaq.com and find Lars Q-jet paper. More Q-jet stuff there. The real trick with Q-jets calibrating it for you specific set up. Rebuilding is fairly easy but it won't fix a carb that is set up for something else. Lars paper will tell you a lot.

Surfer,
Make sure the kit you bought has a accel pump that is compatible with current fuels. The kit I had contained the wrong pump. The fuels now days contain alcohol which caused my pump to swell in the bore and not operate properly. It caused hard starts and a really bad bog when you hit the throttle, really dangerous when maneuvering in traffic.

Best book on Q-jets:

Rochester Carburetors by Doug Roe

I am sure of the name and 90% on the title. Good discussion on rebuilding Q-jets with diagrams and pictures of every step.

Between this book and the Lars' tech papers, the Q-jet becomes a lot easier to work on.
