Things are progressing.....
Potassium Sulphate. That's not me in the costume. He used over 4 bags of the stuff. It is environmentally friendly and simply dissolves into the soil with the first rain. (Potassium sulphate is used in cements, in glass manufacture, as a food additive, and as a fertilizer (source of K+) for chloride-sensitive plants, such as tobacco and citrus.) Took about 2 1/2 hours to complete the job.
Amazing results. When I think of how difficult it would have been to get to all the nooks and crannies doing it manually.
