He dropped off my Billet Bryant Racing crankshaft :D ! My wife wasn't too happy about seeing car parts arriving to the house again :cuss . I think I need to back off some to get back to that balancing point ;) . Women just don't know how hard it is being a guy :boxing .

Well within the past month I gotten 6" Carrillo Rods, Crane roller lifters, & now the crank. Still need many many more parts :rolleyes: . I must say the crank looks absolutely incredible :yesnod: .

Big Brown knows exactly where to deliver at my house. It goes straight into the second garage. I leave it unlocked when I know he's coming. Wife never even sees the boxes!

Thanks Alwyn & 74Roadster. The engine is basically a destroked 400. It's going to be a 388. 4.125 bore with 3.625 stroke. I'm hoping for between 550-600 hp :D . Yes I'm still hoping to go with the Holley Stealthram. Compression will be around 11:1 . Not sure which heads I'll be going with yet :confused: .

Frank, I'm thinking of maybe giving the UPS guy your address :p: !

Dave it's so nice to see you posting ! Yeah, I'll be picking up the diamond ring tomorrow for her for Christmas (the last thing she'd expect from me ;) ). I have to make sure she knows she's stilled #1 :blueangel: .

I got tired of that battle and just started sending parts straight to the engine builders. Of course I didn't get to fondle them or spend any quality time with the parts, but I got more quality time with the woman! And if that transmission box had shown up on my doorstep :boxing

Mike, in keeping with your NASCAR parts theme, wouldn't this engine require a nice set of those Ebay SB2.2 heads? :thumbs:

I've thought about doing that with my 406. Those SB2.2 engines just look NASTY! I wonder how much hp a 400 block with splayed 4-bolt caps can take?

Flareside don't think I haven't thought of the SB2's :crazy: , the only thing is, I don't think the Stealthram would bolt to it :cry . I would have to look at exhaust adaptors too, but that kind of thing has never stopped me ;) .

When my bud and I would get into our respective car projects we would charge on each others credit card and then settle up with cash. That way our wives didn't know how much we were spending. We also had the big brown truck deliver to the other's house.
