anyone heard of Euro Conversion clear headlights
I saw them on Procarparts.com and wandered if anyone has used any on their cars? They are supposed to be an alternative to the HID lights, but at a lower cost.

I smell some stinky poopies in that add.....no such thing as Xeon lights for 45 bucks. Nice looking lenses, but just a standard Halogen bulb, nothing special.
OOps, forgot to mention, the real deal Xeon conversion from Sylvania runs 800.00 with its own Control Module.

Don't put those in your car unless you're friendly with your local cops. Those are very likely not DOT approved and look good for blinding oncoming motorists...

I would definitely check with state and local driving ordinances to make sure these things are legal. My best friend is an Oklahoma State Trooper, and he pulls over all the people with improper lighting. :smash: :smash: :smash:

Re: anyone heard of Euro Conversion clear headlights ('79ProwlerOrange)
I just purcased these same headlight from the same company. The bulbs are zenon gas filled with a blue tint on the bulb itself. the lens is glass in front with plastic in the rear (where the bulb fits in). I frist tried to rubber groument over the plug but it didnt streach enough to fit. I then decided to go with out it but the lens was too loose and rattled around and spun sideways. So i put the light bulb inside the lens and the rubber groument over that. there was just enough prongs from the bulb sticking out to put the plug on. this also made the lens sit in there nice and tight. The lights look like that of HID system but no where near as bright and i found when i drove in a non lite up area they were some some what lack luster. In fact regular halogene lights were better. So if your going alot of night driving in low level lit areas i would not recomended them.
