Newer LT1 cam, in 77 350 block?
Can you do that? If not, what cam should I go with for my setup?
All forged bottem 355, 10.5 comp. worked 64CC iron heads, performer intake.
As fare as a goal. Id like to go fast. :) :steering:

The LT1 has a factory roller cam, you'd have to go with roller lifters at the very least.
If you were to call the guys at Crane and Comp Cams, they would need some information to recommend a cam. The information that they or anyone else will need is fairly extensive... Type of transmission your running auto or manual, if you have an auto what's the stall speed of the torque converter what kind of heads and valve size, what ratio rearend you have, what kind of exhaust are you running.
Going fast isn't as easy as just sticking in a big cam, it is a science to get everything that works together to produce the best performing car you can.
With the information I have on your car, I'd suggest a Comp XE268 or a Crane 278H and a good set of headers.
