Default Fuel cell mounting

Hey guys, need your help here!

I want to put a fuel cell in my 68 and mount it low behind the rearend
just below the rear floor and sway bar.

Now I'm concerned that it may be too close to the ground.
All the fuel cells I see are 9-10 inches deep.

The car is currently apart so I'm not sure if it be too low or not.

What do you think? Anyone done something like this?
