Need Help.
What is the part no. for the tube that connects the oil pressure sender to the engine compartment. I found that mine had a hole in it and that might be causing my gauge to go crazy.

Re: Need Help. (trw)
The item with that is broken connects the line to the oil pressure sender (the thing that looks like a bell). The oil pressure line has this squared off connection that plugs into the sender. On my vette, that is the area where it is torn.

It sounds like the line has come out of the compression fitting.
Anyone care to back me on this one.
What year is your vette? It sounds like a trip to Autozone may be in order. Tell them what you have and they can set you up. Mr. Gasket makes a kit that will have the hardware that you are looking for. IF it is what I am thinking it is.

Re: Need Help. (YoNni22)
I finally got my problem fixed. The reason why my gauge was going crazy was because of the oil pressure sender. I replaced it with a part from Autozone. The AC Delco part No. for the unit is 15591103. I actually bought a cross referenced part froma company named Niehoff. The part number for that is OP24731. It only cost me $12.99. The electric wire connecting to the sender was also torn but can be easily replaced.
