Default Is it possible to "wet sand" emblem lenses?

The emblem in the middle of the steering wheel on my Vette is scratched up, but is not cracked or faded. Is it possible to get the scratches out without purchasing a new emblem?

If scratches are not so deep that you catch your finger nail on them, then yes you can wax out surface scratches in plastic lense covers etc. I've successfully used McGuires Cleaner / Wax to do just that..........works on tailight lenses as well.

There are not any scratches that would catch a fingernail, but they are only scratches that make the emblem look hazy. Would a good cleaner wax or a scratch remover type of wax work best?

Thanks for the info!!

Like I said, I've have very good luck using McGuires liquid cleaner/wax product which can be purchased in almost any auto parts store. Just make sure you use clean and soft all cotton cloth for both application and then a different one for removal, and no real need to let the cleaner / wax dry very much before removal. Just try a few consectutive applications, and I'm sure you'll begin to see results.
