Well I guess its time to go check in.
Off to the Funny Farm I go again.
All of my words are confused in my mind.
They won`t come together and make a good rhyme.
I go to the farm every once in a while.
Just to sit back to think and smile.
All kinds of people show up there.
They`re from here,there and everywhere.
We laugh and joke and have a good time.
We even look under trees to find a good rhyme.
We drink our beer out of a coffee cup.
Then all of a sudden a rhyme will show up.
So nows it time to get up and leave.
But I`ll be back ya`ll just wait and see.

Yes... it can be addictive. The C-3's are just prime for tinkering with since parts are so available. The one thing I can say about GM & the Corvette is that they take the same attitude as BMW does with their cars. Rarely do you see BMW make a compete makeover of a car line and when they do it is after 8-10 years of the same basic body design. That's why most of us find so many parts that say '68-'82. All of the aftermarket players will join in when there is that range of interchangable parts and a group of owners who are willing to sink money into them gives us choices.
I'd like to know what percentage of C-3's still have active registrations. I can't think of another American made car like the '68-'82 that has that range of years that is worth restoring. I am just talking about '68 on up. Granted there were alot of Mopar's until about '72 that pull alot of money these days, but I would bet it would cost a mint to restore one of those cars since the parts are not as available since Chrysler/Dodge did not keep the same basic design for 14 years.
