Tony, funny you should ask. I'm just now headed down that path on my '69. I stripped the old covers and foam off the frames this morning. I have a 3-part series of articles that was published in Cars and Parts Corvette this year that describes how to recover the seats in a '69. Most everything is the same for your '71 except you don't have to mess with the removable headrests. The articles are very thorough and do a great job of explaining how to properly disassemble and reassemble with all the details you'll need to do it right.

If you want, I could photocopy the articles for you and mail them out. Just let me know.

I'm doing the interior of my 75 and was just getting started with my seats. That info will come in handy, as I have never done seats before. If I could get a copy that would be great. Thanks and you have mail. :D

Gentlemen, the article is on it's way to each of you that sent me your address. It's 9 pages, and the photocopied pictures came out pretty legible too. Hopefully the USPS will get it to you before Christmas.

Happy Holidays,
Shannon
