No, but you could download pictures you like from forum members' sites and have your own made! Easy to do with personal print shop stuff or at your local WallyMart.

Perhaps that's something that WE need to start. I personally
don't have software nor experience in the photo shop stuff -
but I wouldn't think that it would be all that hard to do.

I would be willing to do it if anyone is interested. I will check out the costs and let everyone know. I run a graphics design business on the side, so I have all the software to produce it, but would need to find out what the printing costs would be. I also can provide digital photographic services in the Orlando Fl area if anyone around here needs a nice digital pic taken of your vette.

Your sig pic is only 4" X 3" so it might not look as good when I enlarge it to fit on 8.5 X 11. Which is another thing.....what size calendar would you guys be interested in? 8.5 X 11 is about standard size.....I will find out the sizes available and prices.

Ok Guys.....here's what I found out.

We would need 12 pics...one for each month (of course) and one for the cover. If more than 12 guys wanted to do this, we could vote on the 12 pictures to be in the calender and then do a composite of all the vettes submitted for the cover....what do you think?

Size would be standard 8.5 X 11 closed, and 11 X 17 when open.
Printed Cost is $24.95, but could be less depending on how many are ordered. I can get a better price if more are ordered.

Thats about what the calendars for last year cost. And if I am not mistaken, alot of people were not to happy with them.

Will the print be a nice glossy finish or something you would expect from a PC printer?

The $24.95 price was the first estimate that I got and would be laser prints. I am trying to find someone who would be able to do photo quality prints that doesn't cost a fortune.

yea the glossy paper is about $1.00 a sheat, so a calendar price would be $40-50

i was thinking we could create ones on publisher and just upload them. then people can take them to kinkos and get them printed or print them from home. i know my printer with photo paper and alot of color ink could do a bitchin calendar, but it would still run me at least $15 for paper.

the pics i would need to do it would probably have to be a minimum of 800x600 with 1024x768s being much better. this is for a 8.5x11" calander, if you only wanted a 4"x6" smaller pics would be easier to accomidate.

I have quotes for less than that from professional printers on heavy 80# gloss paper stock. I would need a somewhat accurate count of how many are interested. If you go the kinkos route, you wont get heavy stock paper or gloss prints.

Instead of only "12" cars getting selected on(OK, really 8 after my four are put in it  ), why not see who is all interested. I think even a calender showing four, six or even eight cars PER month would be neat. More people could be in it too!!! I'd rather have a calender with a mass of C3s than just "12". :yesnod:
