Sorry about not posting alot, but everything I said was being held against me by opposing counsel. Well the divorce is now over and I ended up having to give her half of the value of the vette. Since that is over now, I will start the teardown and install of my 700R4/ minor rear suspension rebuild. I will post as I make progress and try to help the guy thinking about this swap in the near future.

Yours seemed to go pretty fast---mine took about 8 Ephen years and another 3 years for an anulment! Yeah, I got the ol screw job. I was to get ALL my tools back but wound up with about 1/2! :cuss :cuss :cuss It woulda cost more (Ephen lawyer fees) than they were worth to pursue getting them back.

I just went through that also, it sucks although necessary sometimes. Luckily for me I have had 14 years before I even met my ex. It didn’t hurt that it was in boxes the whole time and she didn’t think it nothing but a pile of S$&*. I can’t wait to finish my frame off and go pick my daughter up in it.:D

I'm with ya Bro! Along with all of the other debt my ex left me with, I had to pay off the loan for and give her my pristine low mileage 98 truck. Otherwise, she wanted me to sell the vette and give her half. I had bought the vette 6 months earlier at her insistance with bonus money I earned! So I ended up with a crappy minivan and my vette. Once all was over, sold the minivan and bought a nice used 300zx for my driver. Now all is good. I'm glad for you that yours is finally over too! Now you can enjoy life again. :cheers:

Lost my first New Vette in a D-I-V-O-R-C-E. She bought me a new "78 Vette for my 25th Birthday and then asked for it in the Divorce. Then she married one of my friends.
