A couple T/C questions: 2415 and C9
Ok, We've got two torque converters sitting here for a TurboHydro 350. The C9 just came out, the 2415 is going in. I don't know if either of these are identifying numbers, they're the only identifying marks. The C9 is written in Sharpie, and the 2415 is stamped.
The C9 is painted grey, and flash-stalls to about 1,000-1,500 rpms. In other words, its weak. C9 is the only distinguishing factor on it. Pretty sure its a re-man because of a nasty weld job.
The 2415 is burgandy, stalls at 3,000 rpm, standard size(I forgot what that is), it came out of a 9-second Camaro, so it's gotta be pretty strong. Welds are beautiful.
Any idea what these are?
Thanks much.
