and WOW do they sound great ,they have a great sound at idle but when you crack the throttle they roar to life.Quieter then the 3 inch straight pipes but still loud like sidepipes should be,this weekend ill have to run it down the road see how it sounds.For the price $80.00 for the pair of them i couldnt beat it, and they have a 3 inch turn out for the sidepipe covers.All i did was cut off the collector on the muffler and weld them right to my 3 inch pipes.Ill get a sound clip this weekend for you,my brother borrowed my digital camera. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=17427

I love the sound of my open sidepipes - even though - I will put some mufflers into them pipes if I get into 11's..

I know that you mean Pat! :yesnod: I have Hookers W/mufflers on the 72 and I get a "woody" everytime she roars to life. Sounds like a low rumble at idel....but jump on her, and she roars like a lion!!!

I like your exhaust set up. Do you have 3" pipe all the way from the header collectors? Any ground clearance problems? What brand headers?

I have hooker 1 5/8 full length headers into 2 1/2 pipes that turn out to the sides then 3 inch from there.I have hooker super comps. 1 3/4 that will be going back on the car,but ill be modifying them a bit .Grond clearance is close,if im careful on the street ill be ok.
