Default 92 heater hose question Please help

I just bought a new radiator and 95-96 upper radiator hose for my 92 and it gets rid of the T however what do I do with the left over hose that comes from the heater core I believe. I have a throttle body bypass. Do I just plug that hose up or what? Will I still have a heater could someone with a 95-96 please put up a pic of their passenger side layout of the hoses Thanks

I did this changeover on my '94 and I assume that it is the same on your '92. You can plug the hose, but I ran a new heater hose from the reservoir to the water pump and removed the "T" connector and short hose on the passenger-side. I have inserted two pictures in my photo album that show the new single hose arrangement. Hopefully this helps.

I just capped off the heater hose that went to the passenger side TB is this going to cause problems does it need to flow somewhere or is it ok just capped off? I couldn't tell how that line ran on the pics.

I will try to insert two pictures. The red arrow in each picture shows the ends of the hose that I replaced. This way, there is less of a likelihood of a leak when you least want one.

That hose goes in the resevoir I need to know where the Hose on the bottom of the heatercore goes to the one in the second picture with two clamps right by the arrow. I plugged it and now have no heater. Thanks anybody with a 92 one this?

Here are two pictures that show the hose that you refer to. I am not sure why you "modified" that hose arrangement. On my '94, it goes from the heater to the water pump, and should have not been disturbed for a TB Bypass or change to 95-96 upper radiator hose. If this doesn't solve your problem or answer your questions, then perhaps someone else can try their hand. Good luck.

That clears it up you have a different waterpump than me. The 92 used the supply from the original upper T on the driver side to fuel the heater with coolant. My water pump doesn't have this arrangement on the bottom. Thanks! Any 92 owners done this and still have a heater? Where should I run this line to get a heater and am I hurting the car in anyway by having it plugged. pics of this would be great!

You need to keep the T in the 92- 2 pc upper hose; there's not much getting around it since the earlier WPs don't have the additional hose cnnection.

I just ran out in 25 degree weather in a t shirt and don't see any way around it either.
