I just bought a 68 back in Dec and was wondering if there is a website or any place to find out what came on this vette from the factory. Your help is much appreciated.

First off welcome to the forum...You are pretty much at the right spot for anything Vette related. Ok let see 1968 from the factory had wipers that dont wipe,vaccum lights that only one goes up(other one is stuck up),overheating engine option, and a push button door opener you pray wont break :D :D :D Sorry no real help, but do a search on 1968 registry(can't remember the site, but its maintained and owned by someone from the forum) it has all the available options in 68. Hope that help some...and again welcome :)

But to answer a very typical question, you cannot tell from your vin alone what options were originally on your car. The records are no longer available. Exception is, if your car was originally shipped to Canada, GM Canada still has the records. So what's on the car now?? :) MJ

It's a 68 International Blue Roadster
White soft top / Blue Hard Top
327 / 300 we think
The story is (whether true or not I have yet to verify) I'm the 3rd owner repainted 16 years ago (nicely done). Interior has new carpet kit and the driver's seat was redone. Other than that it's all original except stereo. The engine has chrome valve covers and a different fan blade and the wrong radiator hose but other than that it looks mostly original.
